Thanks to strong community partnerships, Jefferson County Public Schools’ Academies of Louisville in Kentucky allow students to earn industry certifications or college credits by choosing specific career pathways. Starting in tenth grade, students engage in courses tailored to their chosen field, such as financial services, health sciences, or computer science, through collaborations with local businesses or higher education institutions, ensuring they graduate with skills aligned with industry standards.
