Yes, chef! “The Bear” will indeed be back for Season 4.
The table is set but the clock is ticking for news on when the Emmy-winning, anxiety-inducing and food-forward show will return for its fourth season.
Not much has been shared about what fans can expect as Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richie Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), as well as the rest of The Bear employees, continue to elevate their fine-dining establishment.
Here is everything we know (so far) about Season 4 of “The Bear.”
When will ‘The Bear’ Season 4 premiere?
No set premiere date has been announced at this time.
However, in a March 2025 Hulu video, a number of shows were teased, including the upcoming season of “The Bear.” The show is included in the “coming this Spring” section and around the 35-second mark includes scenes from Season 4 of “The Bear.”
“Sometimes I feel like your work family is part of your family, family,” Sydney says in the clip.
What will ‘The Bear’ Season 4 be about?
No details have been officially announced regarding what “The Bear” Season 4 will be about. However, we can assume that Carmy and the team will be dealing with The Chicago Tribune restaurant review, as well as finances.
Could Sydney also leave The Bear and go work for chef Adam (Adam Shapiro)?
Season 4 could also continue to dive into Carmy’s personal life and strained relationships with Richie and Claire.
Moss-Bachrach told Rolling Stone in September 2024 that he knows what’s next for his character Richie.
“I know where he’s going. I think there’s a lot of things that happen in the third season … seeds planted in the third season that really come to bloom in the fourth season,” he said. “I think it will be a very, very exciting, chaotic, cathartic season, and yeah, I guess I’ll just leave it there.”
Who is returning for ‘The Bear’ Season 4?
Viewers can expect to see their favorite characters, and potentially more surprise guests, in the fourth season.
Here is who is expected to return:
Jeremy Allen White (Carmy), Ayo Edebiri (Sydney), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Richie), Liza Colón-Zayas (Tina), Abby Elliott (Natalie/Sugar), Lionel Boyce (Marcus) and Matty Matheson (Neil Fak), among others.
What happened in ‘The Bear’ Season 3?
In the third season of “The Bear,” Carmy and his crew get the restaurant up and running — and run to a slew of issues from non-negotiables, fighting and finances and communication.
Carmy decides that he wants to do daily menu changes, which frustrates the staff — and, honestly, Carmy, too.
Marcus’ mom dies, Sugar has her baby and an emotional, yet intimate, moment with her mom, Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis), before she goes into labor, and Sydney is offered a new job by chef Adam.
The end of the season sees Carmy, Sydney and Richie attend the Ever closing dinner. Richie helps run service, while Sydney enjoys her time with a number of other chefs making special appearances. Carmy decides to confront his former boss David Fields (Joel McHale) about the abuse he endured in his kitchen. David, in turn, tells Carmy he should thank him for making him a better chef.
